StockOff

Privacy Policy

Last updated: this launch phase.

What we collect

Your name and email (for your account), business details you choose to add (name, description, city, locality, phone, and location if you enable it), listing details, and messages you send through enquiries.

What's shown publicly

Once a business is verified: its name, description, city, locality, and phone number if provided (this is meant to be public, the same way a shopfront number is). Your exact address and precise location are never shown publicly — only city/locality, and an approximate distance in Near Me results.

What's kept private

Your enquiry messages and any contact details you include in them are shown only to the seller you're contacting — never displayed publicly.

Payments

Stock Off does not process or store payment card or bank details. Boost payments are made directly via UPI to our business account; we only store the reference code and amount needed to confirm your payment.

Who can see what

Database access is restricted by row-level security — a seller can only see their own business and listing data, a buyer can only see their own saved listings and enquiries, and only admins can review verification and reports.

This is a plain-language summary written for an early launch, not a substitute for professional legal advice. As the platform scales, this policy should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer for full compliance.
